Frequently Asked Questions
A. No, we do not take provisional bookings. This is so that the availability on our website is always up-to-date and accurate.
A. The majority of our venues take 25% – 50% on booking, while the balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
We also recommend reading the Terms and Conditions before making the booking.
A. We only take payments by card and bank transfer. We do not accept Amex.
We have quite a strict cancellation policy. Once payment for the deposit has been received, you are liable to pay the full amount of the total booking value. If you wanted to cancel, we would attempt to find alternative guests to book the venue over the cancelled dates, and would offer a refund only if we are successful in doing so.
A. Each venue has a security deposit ranging from £200 to £4,000 depending on the size of the venue and the nature of the celebration. The security deposit is taken before your stay by the owner directly.
A. Yes, all of the houses on this page accept hen parties, but ask that you respect our neighbours, and so if you are looking for a rave venue, then we are not for you! You’ll be able to find information on whether or not you can host a hen or stag party in the pink box on the right-hand side of each Party House.
What Can You Do at Our Hen Party Houses?
There are a number of unique activities that can be brought to any of our houses for hen parties. From chocolate making to karaoke, clay pigeon shooting, and murder mysteries, there is no shortage of entertainment to consider when planning a hen do. We’ve found the best way to plan a hen party is to rent a fabulous house and build a program using some of our unique hen-do ideas. This way, you’ll be sure to have a perfect balance between wild fun and relaxation.
Firstly, we suggest bringing in a caterer or organising a grocery delivery box. This spares you the drag of going shopping and drawing straws for who’s on cooking duty. Additionally, it frees up time for sipping champagne in the hot tub with your girls. Alternatively, many of our houses are situated close by to cosy pubs and restaurants that would be lovely to stop in for a drink and a meal. We personally find it works well to do a combination of things at our hen party houses. It can be helpful to get a grocery box with the essentials delivered on arrival- some houses even unpack them for you! Bring in the caterers for a full English Breakfast after a night of shenanigans, and maybe grab a pub lunch at some stage too. This way, you get to test drive your kitchen, relax at your Hen Party House, and get a taste of the local lifestyle.
Make your Hen Party adventurous:
If you fancy some fresh air, we offer many houses situated out in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful walks. Certain venues, such as Roaches Hall and Hamps Hall, sit nestled in the mountains of the famous Peak District. The Peak District, the UK’s first official national park, is known for its stunning countryside walks and cycle routes.
For more daring and adventurous hens, there are also a number of caves throughout the Peak District, such as Poole’s Cavern and Titan Cave. Poole’s Cavern is a lovely cave to visit, as they offer guided tours that would make a great addition to a hen-do program. The tours last for 45 minutes and walk-ins are not guaranteed a spot, but tickets are available online for £14.50 per person. The Peak District also has many famous spots for those who might enjoy a bit of rock climbing. If heights or caves aren’t for you, why not try out quad biking or paint-balling?
Party Houses offer a wide range of activities and entertainment at our houses. Even if you’re planning a last-minute hen do, we’re positive that you’ll find something unique and fun for everyone. Why not try out some pole dancing lessons, nude drawing, photography, or even archery? Remember to let your activity providers know that you booked with Party Houses! They might just hook you up with a free bottle of Prosecco.

If you’re already feeling exhausted at the thought of all that action, perhaps you may prefer to take a different approach. We’ve found that spa sessions are a great hit for hen parties. Many of our Hen Party Houses come equipped with hot tubs, which are simply perfect for relaxing and sipping Champagne.
Spend a day being pampered by professionals and relaxing in the hot tub. There is no greater way to relax than with a professional massage and spa treatment, followed by a lady dip in the hot tub.

Typically when one thinks of a night out on the town you don’t imagine a house party. Well, you’re in luck. At Party Houses, it’s fully possible to have a wild night from the comfort of your Hen Party House. From murder mysteries to casino nights and karaoke competitions, there are all manner of incredible activities. You can even take it one step further and bring in a bartender to mix up some cocktails. Many of our venues come equipped with games rooms and incredible grounds, making them perfect for hosting parties. Some, such as Cedar Lodge and Bradshaw Hall even have party rooms, with poles for pole dancing, and karaoke machines.
Those looking for a real night out in the city can make us of one of the many shuttle services. This makes it easy to get out into town with the girls. Venues such as Catweazle Manor and Puzzle Party House are situated relatively close to London. Alternatively, Malthouse Cottage and Ivystone House are situated close to Bristol, another city worth exploring for a night out.
