Cheddar Gorge
One part of Somerset that is certainly worth a visit is the incredible Cheddar Gorge. Firstly, the area is home to two famous caves, Gough’s Cave and Cox’s Cave. Both of these are positively awe-inspiring, and no trip to the gorge would be complete without visiting them. For the history buffs, there is also a pre-history museum in the gorge, perfect for a family day trip. In fact, Cheddar Gorge is a Site of Special Scientific Interest!
