Peak District Events in June 2017


It’s official – summer is finally here! And so are numerous festivals and outdoor events all over the UK and in the Peak District specifically. Here are some that you simply shouldn’t miss out on in June 2017.


Stoke Literary Festival

When: 8th – 10th June 2017

Where: Emma Bridgewater Factory


The Stoke-on-Trent Literary Festival is returning to the Emma Bridgewater Factory. Literary enthusiasts will be able to enjoy three days of talks from their favourite writers, panel discussions, workshops, and performances for all generations. Located in a creative environment of an old pottery warehouse, this event will touch upon subjects ranging from poetry, history, and heritage, to environment, politics, and food.



Chatsworth Flower Show

Eroica Britannia


When: 16th – 18th June 2017

Eroica Britannia each year welcomes thousands of biking enthusiasts in a vintage racing in the stunning Peak District National Park. Besides the race, you’ll be able to enjoy live music, Lindy Hop, the retro fashion of the British Bazaar, award winning food vendors and more. Glastonbury Festival




When: 21th – 25th June 2017

The legendary Glastonbury Festival is one of the biggest greenfield festivals in the world, famous for featuring outstanding talent and performances. The year of 2017 will feature the biggest names of contemporary music: from Radiohead, Alt-J, the XX to Ed Sheran, Foo Fighters, Lorde and many many more.








 Proms in the Castle
