Nicholas If you are looking at the photos for this venue and thinking to yourself "it can't be that good" I'll tell you now hideout mansion met and exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed for a weekend away was there, the facilities were in great condition and all 15 of our group had a wonderful time. Caroline, our host, was super helpful in the runup to our stay and was able to make great recommendations in the area. Book this venture now! You won't regret it.
Sarah Had a perfect stay at the hidden mansion. Having sky in multiple rooms was a plus especially for watching the euros live no panic on space to enjoy. Everything is as you see on the photos, couldn’t have asked for more. The host was great with communication and the on site manager was there if anything popped up that needed sorting. Plenty of space for all 18 of us to relax, sunbathe and enjoy. The mansion was clean and the extra touch of ransoms games was a bonus when you’ve had one too many and fancy a game of giant jenga! Would definitely recommend and will definitely book again.
Ellie We came here for a long weekend and couldn’t be happier! The house and grounds were beautiful and we loved the quirky bits. The hot tub was fantastic and the garden was endless! It was the perfect location for us to get around and we were given all the details needed to find our way there. A super weekend had by all!

The place was clean and spacious for our big group. And checking in and out was so easy. Definitely recommend this place and the host.

Kyle fantastic spot for a large group. Kitchen was great and so were the hang out areas! Easy taxi into chester le street too if you need out and about. Newcastle was only 30 minutes away too! Fantastic time had by all!
Mike What an amazing place to stay. We went for a stag do, and worried about covid, the place went from our homebase to explore Newcastle, to the only destination. Decorated beautifully, amazing surroundings, lovely and warm with a tonne of brilliant facilities, we loved it. Hosts were communicative and excellent throughout. Would 100% recommend. Only thing to note, very difficult to book local taxis, so bring a car!

Hannah The Hidden Manor was fabulous, we had a lovely relaxing stay in an idyllic setting. Relaxing in the hot tub, making drinks in the bar and playing pool in the games room, we had so much fun at Caroline’s place. The house was very well kept and very clean. It’s very easy to find, even though it’s in quite a secluded spot. Would highly recommend a stay at the Hidden Manor!

Chuka This house is massive, proper hideout where you can chill with your group and no neighbours to complain, jacuzzi was also great, we enjoyed our stay and the host replies messages quick as well, we will surely be back.

Emma Great house for large group, adults, kids and dog! If using the hot tub frequently please request a change of filter midweek as otherwise it doesn’t keep the tub clean. We had two issues while there and each one was dealt with promptly and professionally.
Faye We rented this property for a hen weekend and can not fault the place! We had a great time and the house had everything we needed, games room, bar, hot tub and plenty of space as there were over 20 of us! We had a night out in Durham using pratts taxis (3 mini buses seating 7 each) booked the day before at a cost of about £35 each. So no issues getting taxis. Communication was great, even when we had questions while on site, responses were straight away. Highly recommend!

Tim As a family group spanning four generations, aged from 1 to 86 years, we absolutely loved this stunningly located country house. The extensive gardens were a playground of discovery for our grandchildren and perfect for hide and seek, boules and picnics. The house has a range of rooms for socializing and relaxing and is well equipped and comfortable.aroline is a great host. A couple of minor issues during our stay were dealt with quickly and effectively. We would definitely recommend this delightful house to other family groupings as a place to gather and build special memories.

Halyma We stayed at Caroline’s Manor as Family of 17 people consisting of 3 generations. The garden was absolutely beautiful and luckily we had great weather 2/3 days so made the most of it. The house was spacious and provided ample space for us all to move around and stay without feeling crowded. The Manor Kitchen wasn’t equipped for kids and there wasn’t any toys however this was communicated to us in advance so we were prepared with toys for the kids although there were board games. We did have issue with no hot water on the 3rd day which was an inconvenience however this was fixed within 3 - 4 hours. The hot tub was fantastic and the family enjoyed it.
