Reception rooms

The Drawing Room is a peaceful and cosy room which features original oak beams poking through the low ceiling and a wood-burning stove which will keep you and your loved ones warm throughout your stay. The Morning Room is a quiet and light space perfect to enjoy a good book. Featuring a TV and game consoles, it can also double as a children’s snug, making this a wonderful family-friendly accommodation. The first-floor landing has another lovely and cosy nook where one can relax and enjoy tea sitting on the window shelf overlooking the captivating gardens. 

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen features a large-range electric cooker, micro combo oven and two dishwashers. This room also leads to the scullery and pantry, and features a large pine table with eight chairs. The Breakfast Room has French windows leading out to the kitchen garden and also contains a pine table that can seat six children. The two tables can be put together so that 12 people can eat in the kitchen.

Your group can all enjoy a celebratory meal together in the Library Dining Room which features a large antique American oak dining table for 14 people. There are also 2 additional oak roundtables which can sit 8 each, enabling you to dine a total of 32 guests in one room.

Bedrooms

All the 6 bedrooms of this holiday home near Bristol are located on the first floor. You can pick between:

• Double room with a super king bed and an en-suite bathroom
• Double room with a queen size zip-and-link beds and an en-suite shower room
• Twin room with two large singles and a large bathroom featuring a Victorian roll-top bath and an additional shower
• 2 regular double rooms
• Cosy double bedroom with a queen-size 4-poster bed

All bedrooms are very inviting and feature comfortable mattresses, soft duvets, sheets, and towels. There are 5 bathrooms in the property, one of which is the house bathroom, located on the first floor. 

Out and about

22 acres of beautiful grounds will provide you with plenty of space and privacy, not only for you but also for your pets. As this is a dog-friendly accommodation, there’s no need to leave your furry friend behind! 

If you’re looking for accessible accommodation, add the Chinese Elm Cottage to your stay. With one level wooden flooring throughout the ground floor of the cottage and a double-twin room with an accessible wet room with rails, this holiday cottage was awarded National Accessibility Lever M1 & M2.
