The forests surrounding our Party Houses are turning golden brown, and as summer departs, autumn is finally upon us. The sun is slowly departing, but autumn with its changing scenery manages to be just as, if not more beautiful, as a pallet of colours is feasts for the eyes. For our guests this time of the season is perfect for visiting the local attractions, offering a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Take Chatsworth house for example, under an hour away from all our Party Houses, offers the perfect mix of exploring the Georgian interior and learning about the period, to enjoying the mixture of colours that the beautiful gardens offer.
Any guests that are fortunate enough to be visiting on Guy Fawkes night have a feast of local festivities to choose from. Each Party House is situated close to a local celebration, with fireworks, apple bopping and sparkler spinning to take advantage. Just make sure to remember to bring your gloves!
For us at Party Houses, autumn is a great chance for us to get our camera out, taking advantage of this colourful time to take some promotional pictures for each of our properties. Roaches Hall offers a particular treat as we head to the rooftop to take panoramas of the surrounding Peak District in all of its glory. If we make it for sunset its even more of a bonus as the sun gives a stunning golden reflection off the Roaches Rocks!
